Renovation Site Supervisor

People Renovations is seeking an experienced and motivated Renovation Site Supervisor to oversee commercial and residential renovation projects in Melbourne, Victoria. The ideal candidate will supervise daily site operations, coordinate tradespeople, maintain construction quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are completed efficiently according to approved plans and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily renovation and construction activities across project sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work meets agreed deadlines.
• Oversee commercial fit-outs, restaurant renovations, retail spaces and residential renovation projects.
• Ensure all renovation work follows approved building plans, specifications and relevant Australian building regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Implement workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures.
• Monitor materials, equipment and site deliveries.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate site reports and project documentation.
• Communicate project updates to management, contractors and clients.
• Coordinate inspections and support successful project completion and handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, renovations or site supervision preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial fit-outs or residential renovation projects is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualification in Building and Construction or Construction Management preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building specifications.
• Knowledge of Australian building regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Valid Construction White Card.
• Valid Australian driver's licence preferred.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
