Residential Construction Site Supervisor

People Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Construction Site Supervisor to oversee residential building projects in Melbourne, Victoria. The ideal candidate will manage daily construction activities, coordinate tradespeople, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently according to approved plans and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities across residential building sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure projects meet agreed timelines.
• Ensure building works comply with approved plans, specifications and relevant Australian building regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain construction quality standards.
• Implement workplace health and safety procedures.
• Monitor building materials, deliveries and site resources.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate effective solutions.
• Communicate project updates to construction managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site reports, records and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate building inspections and support project handover processes.
• Ensure construction sites remain safe, clean and organised.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction or site supervision preferred.

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, building plans and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Construction White Card required for relevant construction site work.
• Valid Australian driver's licence preferred.
