Retail Store Manager

Vybe-Beer is looking for a Retail Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations of its retail outlet. You’ll lead the store team, plan staff coverage and keep stock available so customers can get the products and advice they came in for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare staff rosters, assign duties and make sure busy periods are covered.
• Coach team members on customer service, product knowledge and point-of-sale procedures.
• Oversee stock deliveries, stocktakes and replenishment. Investigate differences between stock records and actual counts.
• Track store sales, review product performance and keep displays well stocked and clearly priced.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, till reconciliation and customer escalations.
• Make sure the team follows store procedures for responsible alcohol sales.

What we’re looking for

• Experience supervising or managing a customer-facing team in retail, beverage retail or hospitality.
• Practical experience with stock control, staff rostering and point-of-sale systems.
• Confidence coaching staff and resolving customer concerns during busy shifts.
• Ability to read sales reports and use them to plan stock and staffing.
• Beer or beverage retail experience is an advantage.
