• Preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards
• Assisting in menu planning and development
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements
• Assist Chef in ordering and maintaining inventory levels
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service
• Inspect and receive stock
• Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience

• Certificate III or higher in commercial cookery. Alternatively, 3 years of experience can be used to substitute formal qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant role within the restaurant industry
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Food safety and hygiene awareness and ability to apply it in workplace
