Retail Sales Assistant

Kebbos is looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. You’ll work at the front counter, help customers with menu enquiries, take orders and make sure each order is handed over accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and answer questions about menu items and specials.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Process cash and card payments and issue receipts when requested.
• Communicate order details and special requests to the kitchen team.
• Check orders before handing them to customers or preparing them for collection.
• Keep the counter, payment area and customer-facing spaces clean and stocked.
• Handle routine customer concerns politely and refer unresolved issues to the shift supervisor.
• Follow workplace hygiene and safety procedures and support the team during busy service periods.

What we’re looking for

• A friendly, professional approach to customer service.
• Clear communication and good attention to detail.
• Reliability and the ability to stay organised during busy periods.
• Confidence using a point-of-sale system or willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail or customer service is preferred.
